Well for University Module in Software Development we were given a few options on what to do an assignment on. Choices were basically make some crappy local database like system in Java for a Dating Agency, creating an education application in Java or C# and finally, which pleased me, a game made in C# with XNA.

Seeing as I had used XNA before I opted to use this with another friend from college who also is studying the same subject and University.

So far I have come up with the work for it as we are on an Easter break now but this Sunday when we go back we are working on it more.

As this website shows I have been pretty quiet and I guess whats happened to Ares explains why. All the forums to do with Ares are either gone or are no longer active and it’s a shame to see it all fading out, heck it used to be fun and I gained allot of friends on the network but most of all I found the girl of my dreams, someone id give anything for and I didn’t care what anyone said as they didn’t know her just like people never really knew me.

I don’t owe anything to anyone but if Ares was never around I would have never met Melissa. Shes the only person who ever really believed in me and my work while everyone else made jokes or criticized me without even knowing me, the real me I mean. Do I hate people for that, no because at times I was to blame just as much as they were for acting immature and the truth is anonymity can get to some people and make them say stuff they don’t even really mean. I would hope them people have grown up by now just as I have.

I’m thinking I may still put out a server, well a basic source that people can build from. This website still seems to get a few hits and if people would even like to take a look or contribute I would gladly give writer status to a few people so that they could make their own posts, be it about gaming, code, humour or software (no warez). Let me know…

I don’t think I need to say much, the video speaks for itself

While the Ares developers and Peer Evolution seem to have vanished I’m still here. Some may wonder what the future of my server is and I can honestly say I’m not so sure anymore. I have not used Ares in over a year and I don’t miss it at all, theres really no reason for me to develop for it and without an up to date source which features display pictures I’m not interested.

Right now I have been working on far bigger projects, maybe some of you have seen a release or two? my little application has been all over the internet and I’m still improving on it. It’s funny to me though how throughout my time on Ares allot of people laughed or criticized me for the programming language I love to use and now I got one of the most highly recommended applications out programmed in that very language and it’s been all over the world, even the Chinese love it.

I guess you could say I have moved on to bigger and better things than Ares, but maybe one day I will come out with a release… just get Alberto to release a new chat server source and we shall see

In less than a week since Windows 7 was released to manufacturing, the first crack for the Ultimate edition of the latest iteration of the Windows client is already available in the wild. The Windows 7 Build 6.1.7600.16385 Ultimate crack is capable of activating the high-end SKU of the operating system indefinitely. The product key comes from the only source possible, an OEM, as original equipment manufacturers are the first and for the time being the last group to receive the gold bits of the operating system from Microsoft. Together with the RTM development milestone of Windows 7, the Redmond company has also supplied OEM partners with activation product keys, one of which was extracted from a leaked OEM image of the platform.

The crack which most people seem to be talking about is “Windows 7 Ultimate loader”, coded by a 14 year old known as Hazar. His version uses the same technique as most Windows Vista releases which still work to this very day!

Well, besides this being my first post here I would like to inform you all that Windows 7 has finally gone to RTM!

There was a lot of speculation and rumours about different builds being RTM and what not, but this is the news I have read today from the Windows7TeamBlog and it was posted by Brandon LeBlanc.

I am pleased to announce that Windows 7 has RTM’d!

As I mentioned previously, RTM officially happens only after sign-off occurs. What happens is a build gets designated as a RTM contender after going through significant testing and meeting our quality bar for RTM. Then, it goes though all the validation checks required for RTM including having all languages of that build completed. If all the validation checks have passed – sign-off for RTM can occur. Today after all the validation checks were met, we signed off and declared build 7600 as RTM.

Peer Evolution the official Ares forum has gone down, why? I don’t know but I’m sure it will be back very soon. It’s downtime was unexpected and as far as I know unplanned, I didn’t see anything about it in the admin/moderator area of the website anyway.

Since I don’t actually use Ares chat myself I may be at a lack of info as to whats gone on there so if anyone knows anything please leave a comment.
